Grove City Christian School is seeking candidates for two upcoming long-term substitute opportunities:
High School Math – Long-Term Substitute
We are looking for a qualified long-term substitute to support our Algebra II and Math in Action: An Introduction to Algebraic, Graphical, and Trigonometric Problem Solving courses. This position will work collaboratively with the current classroom teacher to prepare instructional materials, assist with grading, and ultimately facilitate daily instruction. The role requires consistent availability Monday through Friday, with the assignment beginning January 5, 2026. A background in math education is strongly preferred.
High School English – Long-Term Substitute
We are also seeking a dedicated long-term substitute to teach 9th Grade Honors English and 11th Grade English. This educator will partner closely with the classroom teacher to craft lesson plans, manage assessments, and provide high-quality instruction throughout the duration of the assignment. Candidates must be available Monday through Friday, with the need starting February 2026. A degree or formal preparation in English education or a related teaching field is preferred.
