Graham Bentley

Grove City Christian School senior, Graham Bentley, blesses the community with his remarkable music ability. In 2014, Bentley dedicated his youth in pursuit of a music career as a trumpet player. Over the past nine years, Graham Bentley has been involved in various honors bands such as The District 15 Honor Band, The OSU Middle School Band Academy, and the Grove City Christian School 1st chair. He has also been a member of all Grove City Christian School bands such as the jazz band, marching band, and symphonic band. Additionally, Bentley shares his talents for an organization known as “Taps for Veterans.” While sounding taps for veteran funerals and Memorial Day services, Bentley shares his passion as he gives back to our American soldiers. Lastly, Bentley is a member of the Nationwide Children's Hospital Orchestra. All proceeds are donated to the hospital and The Ronald McDonald House.

On February 4, 2023, Graham Bentley was offered the Ohio Music Education Association’s All-State Band 1st chair. This opportunity recognizes Graham Bentley as one of the best high-school trumpet players in the state of Ohio.

The Grove City Christian School students and faculty commend Graham Bentley on his admirable achievements. Bentley has ambitious plans for his musical career. He stated that he “plans to become a band director and compose some music on the side.” He hopes to enhance his leadership skills and continue to inspire others through music. Bentley shared, “Whenever you play music with others, it gives you a sense of joy.”
