Every year, we pair up a senior student with a new kindergarten student. Throughout the year, they meet up several times as kindergarten buddies. Some of our "buddies" even attended kindergarten graduation last week. What a special bond between these students! #gccseagles #kindergartenbuddies
As we wrap up our year, we honored some special milestone accomplishments with our staff. Mr. and Mrs. Conant were honored with an ACSI Career Service Award for their faithful service in Christian schooling (Patty with 50 years and John with 46 years). Mrs. Myers was honored for her retirement and 23 years of faithful service. And we honored our staff members with milestone anniversaries with GCCS - 5 years, 10 years, 15 years and 20 years. What an amazing staff we have! #gccseagles
How fun would it be to come to school and go to Critter Camp? First grade had a fun filled week of math and reading activities and end of the year celebrations as they went to camp - with campfires and tents and flashlights! First grade is awesome! #crittercamp #gccseagles
Our 5th and 6th grade students are having a great time at outdoor ed! It is one of the highlights of the year for intermediate school. We are grateful we were able to return this year and for our parent volunteers and staff members that put so much time in planning for it. #gccseagles
Congratulations to all the READO finishers this school year! Our biggest group ever with 104 students. Each student/staff member pictured read 100 books during this school year. A big thank you to Mrs. Hamilton for encouraging a love of reading with our students! Keep reading over the summer. The Summer Reading Program at all central Ohio public libraries starts June 4.
